Close Enough
Hayley Atwell (“Captain America”) will portray female war photographer Gerda Toro in Paul Andrew Williams’ “Close Enough” at Steel Mill Pictures. Shooting begins in June.

The story is set during the time she and fellow anti-fascist war photographer Robert Capa (Tom Hiddleston) spent in Paris in the mid-1930s and leads to a dramatic conclusion during the Spanish Civil War. [Source: Screen Daily]

Best Man Holiday
Singers Anthony Hamilton and Marsha Ambrosius have been added to the cast of Malcolm D. Lee’s “The Best Man Holiday”, the sequel to his 1999 hit “The Best Man”.

Lee confirmed the news in a recent tweet. Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Morris Chestnut, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Monica Calhoun, Melissa De Sousa and Regina Hall also star. [Source: Blackfilm]

X-Men: Days of Future Past
“The Following” star Adan Canto has joined the cast of Bryan Singer’s “X-Men: Days of Future Past”.

Canto confirmed his involvement in the upcoming movie on Twitter, saying “Thrilled tobeX-Men!”. Other hints have suggested he will play the character of Sunspot. [Source: IFC]

Yuki Morita has joined the cast of the “Godzilla” reboot at Legendary Pictures. Morita is in an undisclosed role.
