Cast Locked For Crank Sequel

More names are joining Jason Statham in “Crank 2: High Voltage”, the sequel to the high-intensity 2006 action film from Lakeshore Entertainment and Lionsgate.

In “Crank 2,” hit man Chev Chelios (Statham) faces a mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart and replaced it with a battery-powered ticker that requires regular jolts of electricity to keep working.

According to Variety, Clifton Collins Jr. will play his nemesis, and Bai Ling will play a key new character, Reprising their roles from the first film are Amy Smart as Chelios’ girlfriend, along with Dwight Yoakam and Efren Ramirez.

Filming begins April 28th in Los Angeles under the helm of Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor.
