Cary Fukunaga Set To Go “Spaceless”?

“Sin Nombre” and “Jane Eyre” director Cary Fukunaga has added another project to his list of potential third films – a film based on Jeff Vintar’s script “Spaceless” according to a tweet by Vintar from a few months back says The Playlist.

The high concept thriller follows an assassin hunting a high-profile target in space who must figure out how much of his reality is an illusion and what really matters in life before he can complete the job.

The project is setup at Universal Pictures and has “Pirates of the Caribbean” director Gore Verbinski attached to produce. Since the tweet, no deal with Fukunaga has yet been locked but he’s “definitely still eyeing the film.”

This year alone Fukunaga has expressed interest in doing a musical, an African civil war drama, a time travel movie, was considered for “The Wolverine” and was linked to the civil war heist film “No Blood, No Guts, No Glory”.
