Captain America, “X-Men” Wrap Filming

Two of next year’s biggest superhero films have wrapped production.

Both Marvel Studios’ “Captain America: Civil War” and Fox’s “X-Men: Apocalypse” wrapped filming this week. Marvel co-president Louis D’Esposito revealed the news about the third “Captain America” finishing up via Twitter. ‘Civil War’ shot much of its run at the Pinewood Atlanta Studios and has been filming in Berlin and Puerto Rico in the past few weeks.

Meanwhile Bryan Singer has confirmed that after five months of filming, he has wrapped production on “X-Men: Apocalypse”. Some final second unit filming is still to take place through September 4th, but the main shoot with Singer and the cast is over and the wrap party was held this weekend. The movie itself is slated to open next May.
