Two noted comedic actresses have just landed some high profile gigs.
First up, “Masters Of Sex” star Lizzy Caplan will join Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard in Robert Zemeckis’s untitled next film at Paramount Pictures, GK Films and New Regency.
Caplan will play Pitt’s character’s sister in the secret project which boasts a script by Steven Knight. Zemeckis, Graham King and Steve Starkey are producing.
Meanwhile, “Les Miserables” and “Mamma Mia” actress Amanda Seyfried is set to star opposite Clive Owen in “Gattaca” director Andrew Niccol’s psychological sci-fi thriller “Anon” which is set to shoot this summer.
Set in a world with no privacy, ignorance or anonymity, Owen plays a detective who stumbles on a young woman (Seyfried) with no digital footprint and invisible to the police. He discovers it may not be the end of crime, but the beginning.
Oliver Simon and Daniel Baur will produce. Seyfried and Niccol previously worked together on “In Time”.
