Cannes 2007 Film Festival Line-Up

The Cannes Film Festival, whose 60th year begins on May 16th, has announced its official line-up with Wong Kar-Wai’s “My Blueberry Nights” (pictured right) opening the festival.

Screening in competition are such titles as Joel and Ethan Coen’s No Country for Old Men,” James Gray’s “We Own the Night”, Gus Van Sant’s “Paranoid Park,” David Fincher’s “Zodiac,” Emir Kustirica’s “Promise Me This”, and a 110 minute stand-alone version of Quentin Tarantino’s Grindhouse entry “Death Proof.”

Steven Soderbergh’s “Ocean’s Thirteen,” Michael Moore’s “Sicko” and Michael Winterbottom’s “A Mighty Heart” will play outside competition. Abel Ferrara’s “Go Go Tales” along with “U2 3D” will have special midnight screenings.
