“Call of Duty” Gets A VR Pack On PS4

Trying to drum up more interest in this year’s “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” release, Activision looks set to not only include a remastered version of ‘Modern Warfare,’ the title will also come with a special VR game for the PSVR.

The free bundled-in Call of Duty VR experience set to arrive with the launch of the game and the PlayStation VR headset for PS4 this November. Titled “Call of Duty: Jackal Assault,” the game will see players piloting the Jackal spaceship and shooting at things.

If you want to play ‘Jackal Assault,’ you will need the PlayStation VR headset – the add-on game won’t work without it. The game is continuing a trend for many VR titles for the PSVR which offer a smaller scope and environment for players to play in due to hardware limitations.

“Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” will be available starting November 4th.
