“Call of Duty: Black Ops 4” Launch Trailer

Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 Launch Trailer

Between the release of “Spider-Man” and “Red Dead Redemption 2” this Fall, the annual military multi-player shooter franchises seem like an afterthought this year – including the former juggernaut and still pretty big “Call of Duty” franchise.

Today, Activision and Treyarch are trying to make it clear they’re still here and have released a brand new “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4” gameplay trailer ahead of the game’s October 12th launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

This gritty, grounded, all-out combat experience is pushing back against the single-player success stories by putting the focus squarely on an impressive multiplayer mode, the biggest Zombies offering ever with three full experiences at launch, and the battle royale experience ‘Blackout’ featuring iconic characters and locations from all four Black Ops games.

The release comes as the title has undergone criticism for restricting its PC release exclusively to Blizzard Entertainment’s online gaming service Battle.net, making this the first COD game since “Call of Duty 3” NOT to appear on Steam.
