Buscemi, Howard, Moss Go “On the Road”

Steve Buscemi, Elisabeth Moss (“Mad Men”), Alice Braga (“Predators”), Danny Morgan (“Off the Hook”) and Terrence Howard are set to round out the cast of “On the Road” for MK2, American Zoetrope, Videofilmes & Film4 according to a press release.

Walter Salles directs this $25 million long-gestating adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s acclaimed 1957 novel about Kerouac’s years traveling all over North America with his friend Neal Cassady on a “cross-country bohemian odyssey”. Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley play the pair.

The group joins Kristen Stewart, Kirsten Dunst, Amy Adams, Tom Sturridge and Viggo Mortensen who were already cast and the first photos of Stewart on-set are up at Eclipse Movie. Jose Rivera penned the script.

Francis Ford Coppola, Rebecca Yeldham, Nathanael Karmitz and Charles Gillibert are producing and filming is currently underway.
