Bryce Dallas Howard Pens “The Originals”

Actress Bryce Dallas Howard is getting into the filmmaking scene as she has co-written the drama “The Originals” which Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment have just picked up says The Hollywood Reporter.

Howard and Dane Charbeneau co-wrote ensemble film about a group of twentysomethings who reconvene for a weekend in New York after learning that the teacher who shaped their childhoods has fallen into a mysterious coma.

The idea is to tackle the “quarter-life crisis” issues her contemporaries deal with. Howard’s father, Ron Howard, could come onboard as director, but no decisions have been made.
