Bryan Singer tells Heat Vision that his upcoming “X-Men: First Class” spin-off will essentially be “about the formation of the X-Men… how they began and the relationship between a young Xavier and a young Magneto.”
He admits that the “Magneto” spin-off may become redundant as this story would use portions of the same story, thus “it might supersede that because this would explore that relationship between a young energetic professor and a disenfranchised victim of the Holocaust.”
At present Singer plans to do his “Jack the Giant Killer” project first as its further into development – “There is a script for “Jack”; we’re in visual development. We’ve got artwork and pre-viz that we are doing.”
As for his other projects, they’re looking for a writer for the “Battlestar Galactica” film while “Excalibur” is still very much in negotiations.
