Bryan Singer In Talks To Helm “Red Sonja”

Following being effectively thrown off “Bohemian Rhapsody,” though still retaining credit, filmmaker Bryan Singer is reportedly in talks to direct the new film adaptation of classic comic “Red Sonja” for Millennium Films.

The film, about the flame-haired female warrior character created by “Conan the Barbarian” author Robert E. Howard and comic writer Roy Thomas, has “X-Men: First Class” scribe Ashley Edward Miller penning the script.

Avi Lerner, Mark Canton, Courtney Solomon, Christa Campbell, Lati Grobman, and Luke Lieberman will produce the film. Singer has kept a low profile in recent months with this marking the first news about him outside of lawsuits, allegations of sexual assault and his exit from ‘Bohemian’.
