Bryan Cranston has shot down talk of him playing Lex Luthor in Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel” sequel at Warner Bros. Pictures.
Asked about the talk by Boston.com, he says that he has heard the rumors of him playing Lex. When asked about the other reports that he’s signed on for six films, he responded:
“Six? This is all news to me. I think that maybe my name is bandied about because I’m known to be bald. ‘What bald guy can we get?’ The reality is they can take any actor and shave his head or put a bald cap on him.”
In terms of what he’s actually doing next, Cranston says:
“I think I’ll relax the rest of the year. There’s some irons in the fire, things that people are talking about, but nothing is set.”
David S. Goyer is at work on the script for the Batman/Superman team-up project which is expected to begin production in February.
