Bruckheimer Hunts “Shake” Killer

Jerry Bruckheimer has picked up the film rights to Derek Haas’ short story “Shake” says The Hollywood Reporter.

The story follows an FBI agent chasing a killer while he begins to lose control of his own body. Haas (“Wanted,” “3:10 to Yuma”) penned the story for the website Popcornfiction.com and will expand the story into a feature screenplay.

Haas is also currently developing the scripts for “Beverly Hills Cop IV” at Paramount, “All Creatures Great and Small” at Columbia and “The Matarese Circle” at MGM with co-writer Michael Brandt.
