Brotherhood Creator Picks Up “2 Guns”

Blake Masters, the creator of Showtime’s “Brotherhood”, will adapt the Boom! Studios graphic novel “2 Guns” for Universal says The Hollywood Reporter.

Penned by Steven Grant with art by Mat Santolouco, the story follows a DEA agent and an undercover naval intelligence officer who are unwittingly investigating each other and who steal mob money for the good guys.

They realize later that the mob actually got them to swipe $50 million from the CIA. The project is described as a modern spin of classic 80’s buddy cop films.

Marc Platt, Andrew Cosby and Ross Richie are producing.
