“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” Returns To Ratings

NBC pulled in its best comedy ratings of the season with the premiere of the new season of police precinct comedy “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”.

Imported from FOX after that network dumped it five seasons in, the Andy Samberg and Andre Braugher-led series premiered to a 1.2 demo rating and 3.56 million total viewers – up 71% over its year ago season debut in the demo and 82% in total viewers.

That’s also the series best ratings in the past two years. “The Good Place” returned in the half-hour afterwards and scored a 0.9 and 2.77 million viewers – its best numbers since early October.
