NBC has renewed the comedy series “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” for a seventh season overall, and second on NBC following its five season stint on Fox.
The series will return in the 2019-2020 season Lisa Katz and Tracey Pakosta, co-presidents of scripted programming at NBC Entertainment said in a statement:
“It’s been one of our great joys as a network to give Brooklyn Nine-Nine a second life. Cheers to [executive producers] Dan Goor, Mike Schur, Luke Del Tredici and David Miner, and our amazing cast and crew who each week turn New York’s finest into New York’s funniest.”
The series’ first six episodes this season are averaging a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49 and 3.918 million viewers in Live+7, up 8% in rating and 34% in viewership compared to the show’s last season on Fox.
