Adam Brody (“Mr. and Mrs. Smith”, TV’s “The O.C.”) and J.K. Simmons (“Spider-Man,” TV’s “The Closer”) have joined the dark comedy/horror thriller “Jennifer’s Body” for Fox Atomic says The Hollywood Reporter.
Penned by “Juno” scribe Diablo Cody, the story centers on Jennifer (Megan Fox), a cheerleader possessed by a demon who starts feeding off the boys in a Minnesota farming town.
Her bookish best friend (Amanda Seyfried) must take drastic measures to protect the town. Karyn Kusama (“Aeon Flux”) is directing and Jason Reitman (“Juno”) will produce.
Brody will play Nikolai, a hot lead singer of an up-and-coming rock band with a penchant for evil. Simmons will play Mr. Wroblewski, a high school science teacher.
