Adam Brody, Marley Shelton and Erik Knudsen have joined the cast of “Scream 4” for Dimension Films says Heat Vision.
The film reunites director Wes Craven, writer Kevin Williamson and three of the original stars of the late 90’s trilogy – Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox. Already onboard alongside them are Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin and Nico Tortorella.
Brody will play a cop recently graduated from college who was raised on “CSI”, Shelton is replacing Lake Bell as a deputy who knew Sidney (Campbell) in high school.
Knudsen will serve as the comic relief/geek knowledge character similar to Jamie Kennedy’s Randy character in the original series.
Craven, Williamson and Iya Labunka are producing. Filming kicked off this week in Michigan.
