Brittenham, Haberlin Unleash An “Anomaly”

High profile entertainment lawyer Skip Brittenham is teaming with “Witchblade” comic creator Brian Haberlin to create the graphic novel “Anomaly” and are already developing a film adaptation with “Alice in Wonderland” producer Joe Roth according to a press release.

Set to hit shelves in October as a 370-page hardcover, said to be the longest original graphic novel ever published, the story is set in 2717 when humans have colonized the galaxy and one corporation routinely conquers other planets to steal their resources.

The story follows a group of explorers who embark on a diplomatic mission to a mysterious planet, only to find themselves embroiled in a global conflict between its exotic inhabitants. In a world where nothing is as it seems, faced with lethal terrain, killer mutants and deadly magic, their mission turns deadly.

A tablet app narrated by top sci-fi and video game actors, and an augmented reality mobile app will be released at the same time.
