Steven DeKnight is the “Spartacus” producer who is also behind the upcoming Marvel TV series “Daredevil” which is currently in production ahead of its debut on Netflix next year. DeKnight was recently asked on Twitter what level of violence the show will be able to get away with, he says: “Less than Spartacus, more than SHIELD”.
Meanwhile the public will be able to score its first look at the show on Saturday, October 11th when the cast of the series will be publicly assembled for the first time at this year’s New York Comic Con. The panel will include a Q&A with the cast and producers, and possibly even some footage. [Source: Marvel]
Captain America 3
Many have been trying to guess the title of the third “Captain America” film, with one common answer being “Captain America: Civil War” which is based on the famed comic storyline of the same name.
Now, co-directors Joe and Anthony Russo have indicated that title is NOT the one, and in fact they tell Desde Hollywood that they don’t think said story will ever be adapted for the screen: “It’s complex. There are a lot of characters. Marvel doesn’t have ownership of some of the key players in that… I don’t run Marvel so I can’t say that it won’t happen, but I would say that it is highly unlikely.”
