A couple of brief updates from the DC Films universe this weekend starting with the “Birds of Prey” film which has just seen “Venom” and “A Star is Born” cinematographer Matthew Libatique having signed on for the all girl team-up film starring Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn character.
Libatique tells GMA News Online that he’s currently prepping for the film ahead of its shoot early next year and says that: “it’s probably going to have a different title” than the “Birds of Prey” title currently attached.
Robbie is expected to be joined by Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary and Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya in the film but specifics of the plot are under wraps.
Meanwhile some new set photos of Gal Gadot in “Wonder Woman 1984” have gone online, as has a new extended TV spot for James Wan’s “Aquaman” with this one featuring more Black Manta and a better look at Ocean Master in his full armor. Both of those can be found at the links below.
