Brie Larson To Make Her Directorial Debut

Oscar-winner Brie Larson (“Room,” “Kong: Skull Island”) is taking on new jobs as the actress is set to star in, produce and make her directorial debut on the independent quirky comedy “Unicorn Store” for The District and Rhea Films.

Based on an original screenplay by Samantha McIntyre, the story follows a woman who moves back in with her parents and receives a mysterious invitation to a store that will test her ideas of what it really means to grow up.

Rebel Wilson and director Miguel Arteta were attached to a previous version of the project. David Bernad, Ruben Fleischer, Paris Kassidokostas-Latsis and Terry Dougas will also produce the film which will begin shooting in October.
