Bridges, Douglas Up For “Dirty Grandpa”

Jeff Bridges has been offered the lead role in Universal Pictures’ developing comedy “Dirty Grandpa”, and should it fall through Michael Douglas is the backup choice says Vulture.

The story follows a soon-to-be-married uptight grandson who is tricked into escorting his lascivious and recently widowed former Army general of a grandfather to spring break in Florida.

The script comes from John Phillips, the writer penning the sequel to “Bad Santa” and so the tone will likely be quite dark and filthy.
