Brand Set For Animated “I Hop” In 2011

A March 4th 2011 release date has been set for “I Hop”, the live-action/CGI family comedy from Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment says Variety.

The story revolves around an out-of-work slacker who runs over the Easter Bunny while driving home late.

Since the bunny can’t hop with a broken leg, the slacker is pressed into duty to save Easter.

Russell Brand has been set to provide the voice of the Easter Bunny. Tim Hill (“Alvin and the Chipmunks”) will direct.

Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio penned the script while Chris Meledandri and John Cohen will produce. Shooting kicks off this Fall.
