Bran Stark Returns To “Game of Thrones”

After having sat out the fifth season, actor Isaac Hempstead-Wright has confirmed that his character Bran Stark will be returning for the show’s sixth season which begins production shortly.

Hempstead-Wright tells The Irish Examiner: “I can’t say a lot but I am back this season, and it’s going to get particularly interesting with Bran. He has some interesting visions.”

We last saw Bran in the fourth season finale where he reached the weirwood tree home of the three-eyed raven and encounters an old man tangled in the roots. Meera (Ellie Kendrick) and Hodor (Kristian Nairn) were with him and will likely return too, but the storyline is up to date with the books so where things go from here is anyone’s guess.

The sixth season is slated to premiere in April next year.
