While Brad Pitt certainly isn’t retiring from acting, he has confirmed he will be appearing less frequently on the big screen.
Speaking with The New York Times, Pitt has become interested in sculpting and landscaping over the years and will pursue his hobby as well as his very busy schedule as a prolific Hollywood producer through his Plan B Entertainment production company.
He says acting is “a younger man’s game” and goes on to say he does not have any plans on starring in a bunch of new movies:
“It’ll be fewer and farther in between for me, just because I have other things I want to do now. When you feel like you’ve finally got your arms around something, then it’s time to go get your arms around something else.”
Until the double dose of Pitt this year in “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and “Ad Astra,” he hadn’t had a leading role since 2017’s “War Machine” and a big screen appearance since 2016’s “Allied”. “Ad Astra” opens September 20th, check out an extended clip from the film below.
