Brad Pitt is in negotiations to star in David Ayer’s World War II tank movie “Fury” for QED and Le Grisbi Productions.
Set in the waning days of the fighting in Europe in WW2, the story revolves around the five-man crew of an American tank named Fury that runs across a desperate German division.
Fury will be Ayer’s next project and he says the intent is to “make a war movie for modern audiences that explored battlefield heroics in an honest way”.
Bill Block, John Lesher and Ethan Smith are producing.
Ayer is currently finishing up post-production on “Ten” starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sam Worthington.
