Brad Bird To Tackle A Fourth “Mission”?

Acclaimed filmmaker Brad Bird (“The Incredibles,” “The Iron Giant”) might be stepping into the live-action world as he has become one of several directors under consideration to helm a fourth “Mission: Impossible” reports Heat Vision.

Producers Tom Cruise and J.J. Abrams have met with the likes of Bird, Ruben Fleischer (“Zombieland”) and Edgar Wright (“Hot Fuzz”) about the high-priority job which will is scheduled to begin shooting this Summer for a release May 27th next year.

Story details are presently unknown but Andre Nemec and Josh Appelbaum have penned the script which Abrams helped work on.

Edgar Wright has already commented on the talk, saying on his Twitter account that he probably can’t accept it due to his still working on the upcoming “Scott Pilgrim” movie which is still in post.
