Boy Saves U.S. President In “Big Game”

Jim Broadbent, Ray Stevenson and Mehmet Kurtulus have signed on to join Samuel L. Jackson in Jalmari Helander’s action adventure tale “Big Game” at Altitude Film Entertainment.

The story follows a 13-year-old boy (Onni Tommila) who decides to endure a test of manhood by spending a day and night alone in a vast local forest, armed with a bow and arrow.

Things turn complicated when Air Force One is shot down by terrorists, and he comes upon the U.S. President (Jackson) who survived the crash via the plane’s escape pod.

Together, they must save themselves from terrorists closing in on their position. This marks the English-language debut of Helander (“Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale”). Filming begins tomorrow.
