Bornedal Becomes Koontz’s “Husband”

Danish helmer Ole Bornedal (“Deliver Us From Evil”) is set to direct the Dean Koontz adaptation “The Husband” for Focus Features says Screen Daily.

The story follows an ordinary working man whose love for his wife is put to a harrowing series of tests over a 60-hour period after he receives a devastating call from a stranger.

Bornedal will write a new draft of the script, originally penned by Glenn Gers.
