Bones To End, “Following” Cuts Violence

Fox entertainment chief Kevin Reilly says that the network is currently negotiating a tenth season of its procedural drama series “Bones”.

Reilly revealed the news on Monday during the Television Critics Association winter press tour. He also said it will “likely” end with a tenth season.

Meanwhile, “The Following” creator Kevin Williamson says that the second season of that serial killer drama will significantly less violent than the first season. Explaining the reasoning behind that he says:

“It’s just from the storytelling of this year and the story we’re choosing to tell kind of has different shapes and changes, and where it’s at, I find it less violent than last year.”

The story picks up a year after the events of the season-one finale which allows for a ‘reset’ with a newly rehabilitated Ryan (Kevin Bacon) moving on with his life.
