Two interesting casting rumors have popped up in the last day or so for some very high profile projects in the works.
First up, a now deleted Instagram post (via The Playlist) from personal trainer Giacomo Farci showcased a video of actor Mark Strong (“Kingsman,” “Green Lantern”) working out while also including some hashtags suggesting Strong has a role in Danny Boyle’s upcoming James Bond film.
The film, the twenty-fifth original Bond film and the fifth and final film with Daniel Craig in the role, hasn’t yet locked in its cast members though Strong would be the second role to have scored a casting rumor following one the other week suggesting Helena Bonham Carter would play the film’s villain.
Whether he’s cast or not, the film will begin production in December.
The other rumor today comes from That Hashtag Show who claims Jodie Foster is in talks to play Jennifer Brown, Secretary of the Interior and mother of leading character and Earth’s final surviving human male Yorick, in the proposed FX TV series adaptation of the comic “Y: The Last Man”.
Melina Matsoukas is slated to helm the pilot to begin production in a few weeks from a script by “Logan” scribe and former “American Gods” co-showrunner Michael Green.
