Fox News reports that Mathieu Amalric is set to play the main villain in the next James Bond film which begins shooting next month.
Amalric would neither confirm nor deny the reports. The young looking 42-year-old French filmmaker turned actor has been seen in such films as “Munich,” “Marie Antoinette,” “Rois et reine,” “Journal du séducteur, Le,” and is hotly tipped for an Oscar nomination for this work in the upcoming “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.”
The report also says that Leona Lewis may sing the new theme, joining a list that includes Amy Winehouse, The Killers and most recently Kylie Minogue reports Digital Spy.
Meanwhile The Sun has reported a dubious rumor that Thai model Jewel has won a role. Finally Judi Dench has confirmed that her scenes as M in the film will be set in Panama.
