The first trailer for the Queen biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody” is set to drop Tuesday at 5pm UK (9am US-PT/Noon US-ET) on the band’s official website and social channels.
The announcement comes with both a trailer tease and the first official poster for the movie which you can see below. The trailer clocks in at 91 seconds and will likely be made up of much of the footage screened at CinemaCon the other week which reportedly wowed exhibitors.
Rami Malek, Ben Hardy, Gwilym Lee, Joseph Mazzello, Allen Leech and Lucy Boynton star in the film which looks at the band’s music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury who shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet.
The film will track their rise, near implosion and their triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid where Mercury leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. The film’s directing credit is reportedly being shared by both Dexter Fletcher and Bryan Singer.
“Bohemian Rhapsody” is released October 24th in the UK, followed by November 2nd in the United States.
