Comics aren’t just limited to superhero powerhouses DC and Marvel, with other publishers from Image Comics to Valiant Comics also in the marketplace and also developing film adaptations of their works.
One such title from Valiant is “Bloodshot,” a film which follows a mortally wounded soldier (played by Vin Diesel) resurrected with cutting-edge nanotechnology and tasked with rounding up super-powered outcasts called ‘Harbingers’ with the help of his ability to interface directly with technology.
Toby Kebbell, Sam Heughan, Eiza Gonzalez, Talulah Riley, Alex Hernandez and Guy Pearce co-star in the film which hails from producers Neal Moritz and Dinesh Shamdasani along with writer Eric Heisserer (“Arrival,” “Extinction”).
Kicking off production right at the start of the year, the film is reportedly ready to present its first footage with ScreenGeek reporting that the film’s first trailer is set to arrive in a few weeks with the opening of “Terminator: Dark Fate” on November 1st.
The outlet spoke with both Shamdasani director Dave Wilson and when asked about the trailer, the producer said it is coming imminently and strongly advised fans to buy a ticket to the new “Terminator”. “Bloodshot” opens in cinemas February 21st.
