NBC’s “Blindspot” has become the first TV series of the Fall season to score a renewal for a second season.
The network handed out the early order today, around a week after the network approved the series scoring a full 23-episode first season order.
“Blindspot” has been the top-rated new series of the 2015-16 season, averaging a 3.7 rating among adults 18-49 and 12.7 million viewers.
Nearly three months into the new season, this second-season order predates any official cancelation of a Fall show – though various shows have seen their initial thirteen episode orders trimmed.
