Blindspot Gets A Full Season Order

NBC’s high-concept series “Blindspot” has become the first new show of the Fall season to score a full season order – the back nine episodes having been picked up by the network.

“Thor” actress Jaimie Alexander stars as a woman found naked in Times Square with no memory of who she is and a body covered in fresh tattoos that are the key to unraveling a conspiracy. “Strike Back” actor Sullivan Stapleton plays the FBI agent assigned to deal with her case.

The show premiered to 10.61 million viewers and scored a 3.1 rating, and dropped to 9.11 million viewers and a 2.6 in its second week. The news comes as “The Borgias” actor Francois Arnaud has scored a recurring role on the series and will play a mysterious character from Jane’s distant past.
