NBC has renewed its James Spader-led procedural “The Blacklist” for a fourth season.
Show creator Jon Bokenkamp revealed the news on a podcast this week, saying: “We knew about that a while ago, it’s one of those things that’s hard to keep quiet. But yes, we’re renewed through the fourth season.”
NBC has jumped ahead of several other networks by already renewing series for another season before the current one has even hit its halfway point. “Blindpot,” “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago P.D.” are all already set to return for a further twenty-two episodes from next Fall.
