Viewers are flocking to new programming it would seem.
Discovery Channel’s mini-series “Klondike,” premiered to 3.4 million viewers on Monday, the network’s largest ever Monday primetime audience. It’s also the highest-rated Monday in more than a decade in the 25-54 demo.
Fox’s “The Following” returned for its second season on Sunday night to a 4.4 rating, up 38% from last year’s series premiere, helped considerably by the 55.9 million viewers tuning in to the NFC Championship Game beforehand.
Finally, Lifetime’s telemovie “Flowers In The Attic” pulled in 6.1 million total viewers on Saturday night. That marks the best performance for a basic cable original movie since the “Steel Magnolias” remake in late 2012. It also scored 2.4 million adults 18-49.
