There’s good news and bad news for “Breaking Bad” fans. On the one hand the upcoming spin-off series “Better Call Saul” has been delayed several months from a late 2014 premiere to a first quarter 2015 airing.
On the other, AMC has confirmed it has already ordered a second season of thirteen episodes, an expansion on the ten ordered for the first season. ‘Saul’ will join “The Walking Dead” on AMC in the first quarter of each of the next two years.
Vince Gilligan is directing the series premiere, and co-showrunning along with fellow “Breaking Bad” alum Peter Gould who created the character. Production on the new series began earlier this month in New Mexico and you can see the first photo from the set above.
