“Y Tu Mama Tambien” and “Casa de mi Padre” stars Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna are set to produce and executive produce respectively the indie drama “Napa” for Mexican studio Canana says Variety.
The story depicts a six-year-old girl living in the aftermath of her parents’ divorce. Rowe based the script on a short story by famed Australian author Tim Winton.
“Napa” is a follow-up to filmmaker Michael Rowe’s debut effort “Leap Year” and the second entry in Rowe’s so-called “Trilogy of Solitude”. Maria Fernanda Sasse will star and shooting kicks off mid-June in the central Mexican state of Puebla.
