EPIX has confirmed they have renewed their two new series “Berlin Station” and “Graves” for second seasons with both receiving ten episode orders. The new seasons will begin production early next year.
‘Berlin’ centers on a new arrival at the CIA’s Berlin outpost who is on a clandestine mission to uncover the source of a leak. Richard Armitage, Richard Jenkins, Michelle Forbes and Rhys Ifans star.
“Graves” follows former two-term Republican president Richard Graves (Nick Nolte) as he attempts to right the wrongs of his administration 25 years after retiring.
In other renewal news, NBC has picked up its fast-paced medical drama “The Night Shift” for a fourth season to debut likely sometime in the Summer.
Though not a massive hit, the series has been a consistent performer for NBC over the summer and averaged a 1.4 rating with 6.8 million viewers overall in Live+7 results. NBC claims it’s the top summer drama on the big four broadcast networks.
“The Night Shift” regulars Eoin Macken, Jill Flint, Brendan Fehr, Robert Bailey Jr., JR Lemon, Tanaya Beatty and Scott Wolf are all expected to return.
