Bennett Nabs Key Role In “Girl on the Train”

Haley Bennett (“The Equaliser”) has scored the key role of Megan in Tate Taylor’s adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ runaway best-selling novel “The Girl On The Train” for DreamWorks.

Emily Blunt plays a recent divorcee who spends her daily commute fantasizing about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day.

One morning, she sees something shocking happen there and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds, involving the other two women (Bennett, Rebecca Ferguson).

Erin Cressida Wilson wrote the script.
