“The Perks of Being a Wallflower” writer/director Stephen Chbosky is set to pen a new draft of the upcoming live-action take on Disney’s animated classic “Beauty and the Beast”.
Bill Condon helms the new version which includes music from both the iconic animated feature and Disney’s long-running Broadway musical. Evan Spiliotopoulos (“Hercules,” “Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure”) penned the original draft.
Meanwhile, Kristina Lauren Anderson has been set to pen the adaptation of the Warner Bros. Pictures feature “Invisibility” based on the young adult supernatural romance novel by David Levithan and Andrea Creme.
The story is described as a romance between a boy cursed with invisibility and the one girl who can see him.
