BBC Studios is teaming with Amazon for “Good Omens,” a six-part series based on the acclaimed novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.
The book is a comedy about the birth of the son of Satan and the coming of the apocalypse. There are attempts by the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley to sabotage the coming of the end times, their having grown accustomed to their comfortable surroundings in England.
Gaiman is penning the adaptation and will also serve as showrunner. Caroline Skinner, Chris Sussman, Rob Wilkins and Rod Brown will also produce. The project is set to broadcast in 2018 on Amazon Prime Video and the BBC.
