Bayer Picks “Boys” Over Second “Nightmare”?

Samuel Bayer, the director of the upcoming remake of “A Nightmare on Elm Street”, tells /Film that he has no interest in returning to helm a sequel if one is made.

“I will not be involved in a sequel…I don’t want to have my next movie be a horror movie… I think I’m going to move on and let someone else handle the next one, and it’ll be great” said the director.

One such project would be the adaption of Garth Ennis’ graphic novel “The Boys” currently in development at Sony Pictures according to STYD. That comic deals with a black ops team whose mission is to take down superheroes who get out of control.
