“The Squid and the Whale” director Noah Baumbach and actor Jesse Eisenberg are likely to reunite in Baumbach’s next indie film “While We’re Young” reports The Los Angeles Times.
The drama follows 40-ish childless couple that begins feeling alienated from their friends as those friends start to procreate. They soon strike up an unlikely friendship with a younger couple.
If he signs, Eisenberg would play the half of the younger couple. Naomi Watts is reportedly also under consideration for the older female role.
The pair would replace James Franco and Cate Blanchett who were originally slated for those roles. Scott Rudin will produce.
