Batman vs. Superman Michigan Filming Details

Filming begins next month in Michigan on Zack Snyder’s ambitious “Man of Steel” sequel, and now some new details about the production’s shoot have come to light.

The Inquisitr reports that there will be a combination of soundstage work at the Michigan Motion Pictures Studios in Pontiac, as well as exterior work being done in and around the Detroit streets.

Michigan Film Office PR Manager Michelle Grinnell reportedly says that around $131 million worth of projected in-state expenditures has been announced, helped by an incentive of $35 million. It’s also expected to bring around 6,000 jobs to the economy of the struggling city.

That of course is just in-state expenditure, NOT the film’s final production budget which is rumored to be over $200 million. It’s the biggest in-state expenditure of a film to date, beating previous record holder “Oz: The Great And Powerful” which filmed there in 2011.
