Bateman’s “Words,” “Bosses 2” Set Dates

Comedian Jason Bateman has a couple of films slated to hit next year, and two have just announced release dates.

First, Focus Features has locked down Bateman’s directorial debut “Bad Words” for a March 21st 2014 limited release, ahead of a wide expansion a week later.

The R-rated comedy stars Bateman as a man who, through a loophole, enters a nationwide 8th grade spelling bee and proceeds to the finals – much to the dismay of everyone involved.

The other is the comedy sequel “Horrible Bosses 2” which New Line has scheduled for a release on November 26th 2014, taking advantage of next Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

The follow-up to the 2011 comedy sees Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis and Jamie Foxx reprising their roles.
